Our first overnight trip with Emma and Jasmine, on our wedding anniversary weekend. We thought it would be romantic to go to Marblehead, having been married on the rocks at Fort Sewell, but the girls had different ideas...

We passed a beautiful reproduction pinnace, the Kalmar Nyckel, at the Hull dock just inside the Gut. The next highlight of the trip was snagging a lobster pot coming into Marblehead - hence the swimming costume pose. Of course, as soon as I actually jumped into the water, she coquettishly unsnagged herself.

The weekend was an educational experience all around; I think the scars have just about faded now.
