The first pics are just general mooching around the house; the girls liked to make up beds in front of the fireplace, although Jamsine didn't always follow her big sister's grand design...

We had snow before Hallowe'en that year; the girls took to this pretty white stuff well, but Jasmine discovered the painful truth about keeping gloves on when making snow balls. The snow tastes wonderful, of course.

The Cowardly Lion made another appearance at Hallowe'en, and a new perennial favourite, the Clown Suit, made its debut. We traipsed around the local houses with the girls and neighbour's children; as much fun as Avondale in Jacksonville, if markedly colder. The girls were very well-behaved when it came to their plunder, Emma voluntarily adopting the concept of "saving some for later" - six months and still going...
